I applied for Vawa last May 2019 I got my receipt notice, My EAD combo card expired in august 2019. I would like to renew my combo card since my i485 based on my old petition is still pending and I haven't got my interview yet, I am kinda of confused where to send my renewal form is it Vermont or Chicago.

thank you guys

I don’t believe you can renew it because it is expired. You need to file for a new EAD, not a renewal.

OP can still select "Renewal" on the I-765: "If you are still eligible for employment authorization but your EAD will be expiring or has expired, you should file for a renewal EAD..." https://www.uscis.gov/greencard/employment-authorization-document

In that case, OP's expired EAD won't be automatically extended since it wouldn't be timely filed: https://www.uscis.gov/working-united-states/automatic-employment-authorization-document-ead-extension

Should I be worried if I filed my 765 with my VAWA application in January 2018 but have never received a reply for it? When I check the status for 765 it says received and they will get back to me. I'm really worried now having seen so many people talking about their EAD. I don't have one. And it has been hell not being able to work for the past 2 years with a small infant to take care of and an extremely abusive husband I'm trying to divorce.

Is it because they are going to deny my VAWA?

What exactly did you file? Is your ex-spouse a USC? Did you ever file a 485+765 with your spouse? If not and they were a USC you needed to file the 360+485+765 under c09 to get an EAD now. The other option is to wait for the 360 to be approved and get the c31 EAD.
