Unfortunately, while Teddy Kennedy hasn't yet succumbed to cirrhosis, "yanking" of the bill is only temporary--it will show up again after a time.

June 7, 07 ;By a vote of 33-63, the bill failed a vote in the senate that was to determine its fate.

There probably will be another vote , failing which the bill is likely to be yanked.

Well I quess thats not going to happen now :angry:

Thankfully, the executive office, nor the Senate can make laws by themselves. We have three branches of government, and while the SHAMNESTY bill may pass the Senate, and that's a big MAY, it will NEVER make it through Congress. Keep emailing, writing, and calling both your Senators and Congressmen. It's working.
