London consulate - can I now book my medical appointment?

My understanding is that I use my LDN number to book a medical appointment, and only once I've attended that can I then book an interview. I received this email a few days ago that included a LDN number. Does this mean I should book my medical after submitting the D160?

Wait until you schedule your interview, usually. Medicals expire in 6 months after getting them.

Ask in the UK forum but I believe all you need is your e-mail to take to the Medical Exam with you.

Don’t book it too soon as they expire in 6 months (although the wait for an interview is not usually long in London). However, do allow 2 weeks between medical and interview to allow time for the results to reach the London embassy from Knightsbridge Doctors.
