And, just like that, you've stumbled upon my point: the processing time algorithm USCIS uses is naive. It's correct most times because it's like my waiter. But still practically useless.

The estimated wait times for people living in Manhattan NYC - 1 year - have been generally accurate, unfortunately. I wish they weren't!
