Question on I-129F form

I have a question on line 25. of the I-129F application (parent 1's date of birth). My fiance's father died while her mother was pregnant with her many years ago. He has been deceased since 1969. No one in her family (including her mother who is still living) can remember his birthday. They have even gone to the local municipal records and cannot find anything. I do not want to leave that field blank, since the fillable PDF form with drop-down calendar requires a birth date. Does anyone have any insight on what to do in a situation like this?

I don't think that item enables or disables any other questions, so I'd just leave it unanswered and put an explanation in the additional information section. If an answer is required to answer other questions, put your best estimate there (and still put an explanation in the additional information section).
