hello everyone,

  my husband and I are about to pay for the fees of our cr1 visa my questions are what do we do next after we pay the fees and how long does it usually take from paying to receiving the email of case sent to consulate ?

Gather and submit all required documents. Respond to any RFE received. Wait for Case Complete. Prepare for interview. 

 

This can take 3-4+ months .. done what dependent on how quickly you submit your documents

1. Pay the fees

2. Complete DS-260

3. Submit I-864 and upload required docs

4. Wait for CC email like 3 weeks

5. You'll wait 3-4 months for Casa to schedule your interview.

wait 3-4 months for interview or for them to tell you when is the interview and how long does it usually take from the email of thr interview to the interview?

After CC they'll contact you about your interview date in 3-4 months. The date is about one month out. 

Ex:

CC 05/01/019

Interview Letter received 09/01/19

Interview date 10/01/19

that is such a long time it is like going through USCIS again . but thank u so much for explaining good luck to u as well
