Thank you Appreciate it , another question main applicant submitted the application ( ds260), then got married to her fiancé , then reopened the application to add him, then discovered he was cheating on her, then had to divorce him she needs to update her status , but the concern will this affect her case.

yes but you did not answer me it this will affect her case 😊 , Thank you

Good lord. I  assumed I didn’t have to spell it out unless it would affect her case. Why do you think it would unless it was fraudulent, which you claim was not the case?

Your sister got married and divorced within a span of of 4 months (or less) of being a DV selectee? She should be prepared for her case to be scrutinized, hopefully she has genuine documents to show the marriage wasn’t an attempted scam marriage.

thank you for your response, no she has a lot supporting documents a pictures.

A marriage of less than 4 months has “a lot” of supporting documents already? That’s quite interesting. Anyway, as long as the documents, both marriage and divorce certificates to start with (and the rest of the lots of supporting documents) are genuine and not “manufactured” documents, your sister should be okay.

they were engaged for months, and there is the marriage's celebration and engagement celebration, yes a marriage of 4 or more months can have a lot of evidence if it was true which in this case yes, unless they will look for other evidences that we do not know about.
