Does joint sponsors wife need to fill out the I-864a?

This is the situation:
My husbands joint sponsor makes enough income that his wife is not needed.
They thought they were filing jointly but recently discovered that they weren't.
They got the taxes amended BUT this amendment does not reflect on the joint sponsors tax transcript yet. They do have proof that they have sent it off to the IRS though.
Does his wife still need to fill out the i864a? She is currently going through ROC herself...

I don't believe the wife of the joint sponsor needs to fill out a separate i864a but she does need to be included on the joint sponsor's i864 listed under household members. And, of course, the joint sponsor needs to have sufficient income to support 3 people (himself, his wife and your husband), assuming the joint sponsor has no other dependents.

Edit: And, assuming you, the petitioner, and your husband, the beneficiary, don't have any other dependents, as well.

He just adds her to the household size right? Or does he also have to put her name and relationship under family members?

Does the joint sponsor need to include me as well in the household size, or just my husband, his wife and himself?

Just fill out the form correctly. I've done it twice but can't remember if the household members need to be listed by name.

You, the petitioner, aren't part of the household size unless in the case you live with the joint sponsor already.

I was reading the instructions and got confused, mainly because our joint sponsor is already sponsoring his wife

For question 1 under part 5 (household size) it will be

1 (for my husband)
Q2: 1 (joint sponsor)
Q3: 1 (for wife)
Q4: 1 (their daughter)
Q5: 0
But then 6 asks to enter a number for any other persons you have sponsored. That would be his wife who is now an LPR.... but shes already included in question 3.
It says not to enter someone twice so.... help?!  Lol
