Can anyone help me what's wrong with my n400 status? Me and my wife both filed at the same day 8/19/19 after 24hrs her application is submitted and now she have her biometrics appointment schedule already..but in my case doesnt update at all.. this is the message that I got whenever I log in to my account. I tried calling them everyday but they cant do anything too they even transferred me to technical support and same thing. I really dont know what to do. payment is already posted on my bank.I dont have any receipt or case number..there is no way to edit the application or make a new n400 file because it gives me a message that I cant file a new n400 because i have an open case already.

Application for Naturalization

N-400

Your application has not been submitted. Although we have received your payment, you or your representative needs to call USCIS at 1 (800) 375-5283 in order to finish submitting your application.

imo If calling an IO higherup does not even help, I would just reach out to my representative or senator. You paid already and you have proof about the payment but you're not getting the service for it. It's weird that USCIS asks you to call them but then can't help you! If your file is lost in space, the least they can do is to allow you to re-file immediately without payment since it's their fault anyway.

Only thing I can think of that may help...

Go into your open case, review the entire document, and make sure that you have uploaded all of the required evidence the online system may have prompted you to do.  If there's anything missing in the application, (ie. a required document) then upload that evidence and hit "submit" at the end.

What's odd to me is that you were able to get to the pay.gov page to complete payment at the end...normally you wouldn't have been able to reach that page without the application being properly filled out/all documents uploaded that was required first.

I'd like to know if you have resolved this issue. I'm getting the same message.

I'm hoping it could just be the fact that I *just* submitted my application earlier this morning....I'm going to wait until next week to see if the status changes or not.

I'm having the same exact issue after applying yesterday. Has anyone been able to get past this?

I called USCIS today in the given number on the page. After 30 minutes of wait in the phone, the customer service person who picked up could not look up my case and assist me because my case wasn't showing up in their system. They reserved an immigration official phone appointment that had a 3 hour wait time. Once on the phone, she could not help either and had not seen such a situation before. She directed me to tech support, which also had a 2.5 hour wait time on the phone. They didn't know what was going on and opened a ticket with this issue but with indefinite timeline so who knows if they ever get back to me.

I just got an email that "Your payment has been submitted to Pay.gov and the details are below."  and when I checked my USCIS account It has changed to " You successfully submitted your form We are processing your form. It can take up to 48 hours for all of your case information to show on your home page." I can see my receipt number now. So hopefully everybody will get payment posting email soon.
