Im really sorry to keep asking so many questions but i need your help.

so my husband is the petitioner and he’s living in Houston TX, I read that they are no longer accepting cashiers checks just the payments I’m going to put in the picture so what do we do now? Does he has

to pay in the office and then send it by usps? Or send it in that office? Do we need to make an appointment? What to write on the cover letter now? Or he can just make

the cashiers check in the bank and add it to the form and the send it by usps? I’m very  confused. Please help me, thanks again.

Not sure where you are getting that information from.

The I 130 fee payment is sent with the application to the locked box address. You don’t have any face  to face dealings with your local office at this stage

This is from the I130 page on USCIS

https://www.uscis.gov/i-130

$535. You may pay the fee with a money order, personal check, or cashier’s check.  When filing at a USCIS Lockbox facility, you may also pay by credit card using Form G-1450, Authorization for Credit Card Transactions. If you pay by check, you must make your check payable to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Please note that service centers are not able to process credit card payments.

Thank you so much. I so that in the USCIS website, I probably misunderstood.

It’s easy to do. And just when you think you’ve got a good understanding you find another piece of information that is slightly different. Looks like the page you were on is a general fee information page .. where I looked was the specific page for that particular form. Deep breath !!!  And in part you were correct .. Houston may not take cashiers checks.... but what you were missing was that the application must be sent to the lock box and not the service Center or field office

So for the last time on this specific form he has to go to the bank to get the cashiers check and just add it to our form, right? Just trying to get everything done and correct.
