Hi everyone I'm marjane from Morocco I just get married with my American wife and we're about to start the process for Cr1 visa but unfortunately I just heard there's some news from immigration office about new immigrant who are going to USA so I'm little bit nervous cuz My wife's state is good I mean financially she make over 34k$ every year and she has two kids they 6,8 years what make me nervous is that she get some money for them from the government + health care help just for the kids , cuz her ex - husband is sick he can't work so my question is: is those helps that she get from the government could impact our process for my visa?

Thank you so much for ur help

She needs to make $32k to meet the minimum.

If she does not have and cannot get health insurance for you then I suspect your case might have a problem.

Thank you Nitas_man for ur answer but I just want to let u know that I'm still here in Morocco now so is she still need to get me health insurance even if I'm not in the US yet? And what u say about that she get help from the government for the kids is that a problem for our application

At this time as the regulations have changed there is no way to tell.

They will look at both of you.  Your job history, your skills, your assets if you bring any to the US, and the dynamics of your household.

Right now I don’t believe that her being on government assistance is a problem but I do not know.

File the I-130 package.   It is going to be at least a year before the financial documents are required and by then, hopefully, the new I-944 issues will be clearer.
