US Citizenship for baby abroad

Hi All,

 

I'm looking to secure a US Passport for my baby in the Philipines. DNA checks have been done and its mine. The mother has a good job in the Philipines plus family and all that bullshit.

 

My Situation:

 

Dual Australian United States Citizen, I was born in Australia, and lived most of my life there but been in New York for the past 6 years. The issue is that its possible that I might be moving to qatar soon for work. Whats the process I need to do to get this thing roling?

Fill out the application for CRBA and submit it to the embassy.

You need to demonstrate 5 years of physical presence in the US

CRBA needs to be filed at the embassy.  You can then file for a passport.  Is your name on the birth certificate?

No my name is not on the birth certificate. The mother is being extremely difficult. I have dna done through an official testing lab in the us. It does not meet New York requirements though. The family is extremely wealthy. They don’t need my money even though I have a very good life here in the US. So there are challenges for me.
