Hi all! After our rfe response on the I 751 was sent in and processed we were thrilled to see we got approved shortly after. I saw it on the USCIS case status checking website first, and then the letter came in the mail followed shortly by my husband's new green card and some information about applying for citizenship. On the same day that the new green card arrived, we also received a USCIS letter with information for a Biometrics appointment coming up August 15th. The biometrics letter is dated the same day as the approval letter and does say it's for the i751 case on it. We've already got his new green card in hand. Do we really need to go to this appointment? (we will if we need to but it seems redundant when they've already approved our case) Thanks in advance for any advice!

You should probably check with them to see if it's an error or if you're required to go.

Did you have a biometric appointment in 2018 (April-ish) right after you applied for removing conditions?

Do you plan to apply for citizenship? You are already past your eligibility date as of May.
