Hi there- Our interview was on August 5th and we were told we were being put in to Administrative Processing and were requested to submit info for the DS 5535. At the end of the interview they returned my husband's passport to him. When we checked on the US Travel Docs website it says they have his passport at the Embassy. (See pic) Anyone have this happen? Also - we were not requested to make a fee payment for anything other than the I-130. We are wondering when we will pay? Thanks for any input on this.

Your passport is still with the US Embassy Consulate.png

The image you posted regards the DS-160 which is not for immigrant visas...........Immigrant visas use the DS-260...............If you have already interviewed, then the $220 "Green Card fee" will apply.....but it is not paid until after the visa is issued.........it will be paid online.

Yes the DS 160 /DS 260 is a mixup they haven't corrected. We have submitted requests for them to correct it several times but they haven't. Even on our address confirmation page we took to the interview it said on top Immigrant Visa on the bottom it said DS 160. Thanks for the payment info. Still curious about why they say they have his passport. I am sure it is a mistake.

(We initially applied for non Immigrant because of an emergency situation - we never scheduled- then we started the full immigration process- the website wouldn't allow us to delete the profile when we changed to immigrant visa. I alerted the site admin they said contact the Embassy- we did but received no response)
