Hi friends, we are waiting for the USCIS to send my wife's parents' approved I-130 to the NVC. Can someone share their NVC checklist so we can adequately prepare these documents ahead of time? Looking for a MNL specific checklist as my wife's parents are from PHL. We already have all the AOS related evidence (tax transcripts etc) all set- just curious on all the other stuff needed. Salamat!

Thanks. Assuming that for MNL IV processing, NVC now allows upload of files so no need to manually snail-mail evidence with IV cover letter correct?

We are filing for the PHL based parents for my my wife (now USC) and not K1. Assuming this is probably a comprehensive set of documents to upload after paying the necessary AOS and IV fees after we get their NVC case numbers

- AOS I-134 completed form

- 3 years of IRS tax transcripts PDF's from USC

- PSA issued Birth certificate of USC showing parent-child relationship

- PSA issued Birth certificate of immigrant beneficiary for mother

- Wedding certificate of immigrant beneficiary for stepdad

- PSA issued Police Clearance

Let me know if  I'm missing anything else cheers

My only comment is that they will REQUIRE the 2018 transcript at the Embassy.  They do not accept the tax return for the I-864.  I saw a couple people get 221(g)s requesting the transcript when they had the tax returns with them.  The embassy's interview checklist specifically asks for transcripts and not 1040s, W-2s and 1099s.

For NVC everything is uploaded through CEAC,   There are two links under the NVC Processing tab, the 1st link is to the complete process and the 2nd link is to a PDF of instructions for how to upload documents.

And yes as John noted, do pay attention with the tax return/transcripts  .. I tend to state tax return (old habit) but you may need the tax transcript

For the embassy follow the 5 STEPS   link is under the Required Documents tab.    Step #5 is the documents checklist .. all will be hand carried to the interview unless noted otherwise.
