After waiting for a year, my case has now been scheduled for an interview. I need to get health exam, anybody here from Houston? Which doctor did you visit and which one has reasonable price? And time to get the result back?

https://my.uscis.gov/findadoctor

We used this, and used a doctor in Webster because he was like a mile away

Time to get results:  a couple of days is my recollection

We didn’t shop doctors.  Just found the nearest one, set appt, and attended

How much did you pay for the service? Just to get an idea. I read somewhere that prices may vary wildly from doctor to doctor. Some charge $300-ish, some charge $500 ish, so...

I have no idea.  To me it was priceless.  You have the site.  Shop around.  It’s arranged by zip code.  Good luck

You heard right. Mine was around $600, and it was 5-6 years ago. Submit a claim to your insurance company, they might or might not pay it. I submitted a claim and my insurance paid about $500 of it.

Ha, this is good to know. I called two clinics and they are in the ~500 range. Prolly the standard price now.

I used the attached. Just be careful not to loose your packet as they will charge you the same just to reprint what they already have in the system (greedy opportunistic Nigerians).

I paid $150 as I had some immunizations already. It is $250 for a whole set if you do not have a record.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.
