Ceac status says ready but no email sent

Hello! My fiancé will be attending his interview at the Addis Ababa, ethiopia US embassy. We received an email only when it was sent from nvc saying that it has been sent to the embassy. When I checked the status at that time, it said “in transit”. About a week later, I checked and it said ready. I was able to schedule my fiance’s Interview appointment and he was able to pay his fees and everything but then I was told I was supposed to wait until I received an email from the embassy telling me next steps. Will there be a problem if he attends his interview even though we didn’t receive an email? Also, will I have to submit his documents all online or does he just have to take it to his interview?

He takes all the documents to the interview.

What about the 1-134 affidavit of support form? Do I have to submit that online or he just take that? And do you know if I have to fill out the form or does my joint sponser only fills out the form? Or do we both fill it out?

You can't be a co sponsor without another sponsor to be co with.  Petitioner is always a sponsor

Everything gets hand carried

So that means that I would have to fill the 1-134 form and also my joint sponser will fill out the same form?

Thank you so much! Also one more question if you could help me out ☺️ I didn’t receive an email from the embassy regarding next steps but my fiancé was able to schedule an appointment and pay his fees. Do you think that would be an issue? The Addis Ababa call center told me I wouldn’t be able to schedule an interview appointment unless they received the case and when I email the embassy directly, they tell me to wait until I receive an email. Problem is, I already made his interview appointment. What should I do?

It varies by consulate but ready status means file is on station.  Do you have the list of required documents and where to pay the fee and get the medical?

I found the list of things to have on the embassy website since I didn’t get an email. Also, my fiancé has a document that is very difficult to obtain but that document I have already sent to USCIS. Will that be enough for the interview or do they want a second copy even though it’s submitted along with his case?

Q1 - Get the Ethiopia K1 Embassy instructions at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hEsLWL0RE-iAoq_ny5866BsaNq1aYzB8/view?usp=sharing as this is your bible needed to complete and receive your visa. The required documents are included and use the this website as a check list. Once you have completed or gathered the required documents you'll be ready for your interview.

Q2. I've reviewed this document and it does require you to submit your document to a online website but to gather the required documents and bring them to your interview.

You may want to visit your VJ sub forum for all things dealing with the US Embassy in Ethiopia, most there will help answer your questions for the processing of your visa using their personal experience.

This was addressed in another thread you started. The document may be with the packet from USCIS but it would be a good idea to get another copy if it is listed in the required document list from the P3 letter that I posted above. Otherwise if it is not listed then you would not need to secure another copy. BTW, if you think you will need that document for some type of registery in the US then I recommend get a copy now as it's easier when you are in your home country to secure such a document.
