3weeks waiting and still no Noa1 -CR1

My husband sent out our packet from the ship where he is deployed. As per USPS our packet was delivered to uscis Arizona last July 5. Its been 3weeks and still we didn’t receive our NOA1. No cash deducted to my husbands bank account since he picked card payment. We even included G-1145 so we get notification via email.

I am quite frustrated since the other people I know who filed the same date as we do same uscis branch already got bank deductions and noa1.

What should we do? Is this something to worry about?

If your package was delivered, I wouldn't worry about it.  These things take time......Did he send it to AZ based on his home of record?

isn’t that NOA1 shouldn’t take that much time? Since Noa1 is sent out to notify the petitioner that file has been received plus payment. Then Noa2 is the one that literally takes time since its where files are being studied etc?

hmmm that i need to check if he used his home address or military address. i’ll keep you posted.

Thank you.

It is true that, relatively speaking, the NAO1 doesn't take a lot of time compared to the next milestone......but the routing to and from USCIS could be affected due to his military mail.....He should continue to monitor his bank account.........
