Embassy Review : |
I got in the embassy 8:30AM and went through the airport type security check. Got myself a number from the kiosk and arranged documents according to what was written on the paper given. Handed out documents for checking. Was seated and waited to be called till 0945 got fingerprints taken. 0955H was interviewed by the consul and was asked the following:
Who filed for your petition?
how and when did we meet?
who messaged first?
When did you get married?
Where was he when you first met?
Where is he now?
First marriage for both of you?
Any children?
I see You got nursing educational background?
How did you come to Japan?
Birth Certificate and Marriage certificate was handed back to me.
Your visa is approved it will come to your mail within a week.🎉🥳🎉🥳🎉🥳

Timeline Comments: 9Your NOA1 is 2 days before mine ,i hope mine gets approved soon
mine got transferred i think that really helped. You will get approved soon! My uscis case page had 4 date changes before i got approved.
How do you check if it got transfered?
i sent an inquiry over uscis livechat and when my noa2 arrived it came from california sc not texas sc
Can you send me link to livechat because everytime i livechat it only lets me livechat with Emma the virtual assitance but not actual uscis employee
So you had your interview at the US Embassy in Tokyo? Your profile says the Manila consulate. Did you request an expedited interview?
i am from the philippines but currently residing in japan. I requested tokyo embassy for expedite
Congratulations on receiving your visa approval!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
** Not all cases are transfered
