Timeline

Hi everybody so my fiance call, and we found out the post office send it to other area of the USCIS, and in that department they didn't even notice until last week, the file is now in the correct office and we have the Noa1 and case number thank you everybody for the help

NOA1 is just a receipt that they have your file. Next is the approval called the NOA2 . Next comes the case number assigned by NVC.

 

Just wanted to help you understand the process as your post indicated you have a case number which is not necessarily correct.

EAD May 23, 2014 Employment Authorization Document approved and went to card production

TD May 23, 2014 Travel Document approved and went for card production

Receipt EAD/AP May 30, 2014 Received combo card EAD/AP

Green Card Approved July 11, 2014 Approved, no interview. Went to card production.

Green Card received July 17, 2014 GC received without interview

Removal of Conditions

Mailed I-751 Dec 16, 2015 Submitted ROC (removal of conditions)

Received Dec 18, 2015 USPS notification of successful delivery

Check Cashed Dec 21, 2015 Check was cashed

NOA-1 Issued Dec 21, 2015 NOA-1 for ROC issued

NOA-1 Issued Dec 26, 2015 NOA-1 Received

Biometrics Appt. Jan 29, 2016 Biometrics Appointment Scheduled [Completed]

No you do not have a case number. You have a receipt number. A Case number is not assigned until your case reaches the NVC. According to your timeline you are still a ways off from getting a case number.

Typically 3-4 months from NOA1 to NOA2, then 1 month to NVC then 1-3 weeks for NVC CASE NUMBER ASSIGNMENT and then considering the shipping schedule another 1-2 weeks. Your mileage can vary.
