Delays in the processing immigrants visa in Santo Domingo

Anyone knows, why the consulate of USA in Santo Domingo is taking so long to set interview after NVC approval AOS?

My case was closed in June 5, I still waiting the interview date notification. Santo Domingo, Dom Rep.

Ok. We are in the same situation. My case was closed on June 5th and have not interview date yet. Somos todos de la misma categoría, familiar directo de ciudadano americano. Esperemos que pronto comiencen a asignar las citas consulares. If we receive any information, we'll let you know.

Hello everyone. I decided to create an account here since it is a very informational place and we for the most part are going through the same things. 

 

I am very anxious to know the date of my husbands interview 😩. Our case complete was June 3rd 2019. Gooood lord what is taking the embassy so long 😒🤷🏽‍♀️

I guess you have to wait more than some of us. @jeanita68 cc is May 3 and she is waiting. 2 of my cc was in May 17 and I’m still waiting and I know few more of May that still waiting too.

Yes im still waiting also and extremely frustrated!! And i heard if we dont get an interview date by july 19, then we have to wait for sept date. So im praying next week we get it. 🙏🙏
