I am here to describe my N-400 interview experience this morning. It was short and sweet, I was called on time and the officer was nice but sticking to the application. She verified all the answers, then we did history and gov test- passed. She asked me to show the tax transcripts - I’m glad i ordered and brought them! No issues, but I would recommend taking official IRS transcripts to your interview. She also asked to see LPR card, social security card, passport, and drivers license. At the end she printed “Recommended for approval” letter and said that she has no issues with the case and told me to wait in the waiting area to be called to pick the oath date. Within 5-7 min, the same officer appeared and called me back to say that they having tech difficulty with scheduling now, and she said I would be getting letter in the mail. That was a bit disappointing but i’m ok with that. When I was getting into my car, I got the USCIS status update stating “The Oath Ceremony Will be Scheduled”

So I take it that all went well. I will keep you posted when I get the letter in the mail and on dates.

@ pupa did you get your oath done ?

No, I described above what happened. They said they will send the letter by mail when they schedule it. It says “Application Approved” online and “Oath Will be Scheduled” on the old website. So i’m waiting for the letter.

Hi LAstategal,

I haven't received news yet. My account online still shows August 2020 as the completion date. Do you have any updates yet?

Hi Pupa, thank you for sharing your experiences! Did she ask any question about your spouse or just asked for tax transcripts? Did you show your 2018 or 2019 version?
