Hi everyone,

Got a question about the medical records for the K1 (London embassy). I asked the receptionist at my local GP surgery for a summary of my medical records and she printed me off the full report instead.

Is this a problem - is it necessary to have a shorter "summary"?

Thanks in advance for your help!

You need a patient summary and vaccination records. I made the same mistake and asked for my medical records. But when I spoke to knightbridge in London they said they now ask for a patient summary report instead of full medical history.

You might wish to review the clinic's website. They have a list that explains what to bring. They also send a detailed list when you make the appointment.

So my fiance tried for months to get his medical summary and they kept giving him the run around. In the end, they ended up giving him over 200 pages of his full medical. We called knightsbridge and informed them how long we've been trying and the gp's just weren't getting it. They weren't the happiest about it but they ended up taking it all. I guess as they were going through the full medical, the gp's included his summary in there so it all worked out in the end.
