IR5 Father Philippines military records

My wife is filing for her parents shortly. Looking over what will be required at the interview stage and Military records cane up. Her father was in the Philippine Marines but didn't retire.  Anyone know what records they are looking for?

 

We already had issues with their birth certificates and marriage license that took forever to fix for mom, slightly quicker with her dad but trying to get ahead of any potential delays here 😀

A copy of his service records, you will have to contact the Philippine Marines and request a certified copy of his records.  I will lay odds if this was many years ago this could take some time.   

 

"MILITARY OR POLICE SERVICE RECORDS: Applicants who served in the military or police should present certified copies of their military or police service records."
