I eat beets and brussel sprouts, but at home you know? If I am to pay to eat out I want to have something really delicious that doesnt necessarily equals healthy, :P

I live on the Northland closer to the airport. There is a shopping center called Zona Rosa that has an irish pub with a roof/deck to sit outside. I am not sure how crazy gets in there but can check it out. But I dunno if they have a happy hour. It's called O'Dowds, there is another at the Plaza.

We went to Zona Rosa, it's not that far away, I'd say 40 miles at most from our house. But I don't know if they are opened late at night, are they? And do they have nice restaurants there? We went for the clothes only.

There are a few restaurants on Zona and one of them that has a brewery called Granite City. Their food is pretty good. There is one called Abuelo's (Mexican) Mimi's (diverse) O'Dowd's (Irish) Tomfooleries (you can sit outside here) Bo-Lings (chinese) Bravo! (Italiano) a BBQ House, Hereford House (steaks) and I am sure I am forgetting some :P

We live downtown in KC, MO. With that said, we are open to any location in KC, Kansas or KC, MO.

We think O'Dowds is pretty good. Alternatively, in Midtown, there is a new place called Nara, that has happy hour and oudoor seating. In fact, we are heading over there now. With the current thunderstorm, we will sit inside.. :D

Already back... We have been there several times and were very pleased with the atmosphere, food and beverages. In addition, it was not so busy. You could walk right in and get a table or a seat at the bar.

Tonight, a different story.

Well, according to the hostess, it is what they call the "fourth Friday" where all of the art galleries change their displays.

Fourth Friday, on the 1st of June? Go figure...

Anyway, we did not want to wait 50-60 minutes for a table, so we got some sushi and Sashimi to go.

Ruchie and I will sit out this one, but we would like to try this later on this year or next year if all possible! It all sounds like a BLAST! It would be nice meeting everyone here in the area! We live out in Blue Springs.... She and Mathew will be here June 15th and so there is so much going on the first month, it would make it impossible for us to attend!
