We both moved to Mexico so I could still work in San Diego  and be together, he’s from Ghana me USA . Can we direct file from a office here?

How long have you resided in Mexico?

Also, does he have legal status in Mx?

Yes he is legal in Mexico as am I . I renewed my Mexican residente card after my year his is in process after.a Year here now. I applied a few months earlier than him to bring him to Mexico.

Maybe yes, maybe no...

 

I believe most DCF applications are filed with the CDJ field office. However, you missed that cutoff:

https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-uscis-office/international-offices/mexico-uscis-ciudad-juarez-field-office

"USCIS will permanently close its field office in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, on June 30, 2019.  The last day the office will accept applications/petitions and be open to the public is May 30, 2019."

 

There are 2 other field offices in Mexico. They may be able to accept the I-130 still if you live within their jurisdictions. Contact them first.

Yes it is too late to file DCF in Juarez.   The other two offices do not have jurisdiction.

March 2, 2018  Married In Hong Kong

April 30, 2018  Mary moves from the Philippines to Mexico, Husband has MX Permanent Residency

June 13, 2018 Mary receives Mexican Residency Card

June 15, 2018  I-130 DCF Appointment in Juarez  -  June 18, 2018  Approval E-Mail

August 2, 2018 Case Complete At Consulate

September 25, 2018 Interview in CDJ and Approved!

October 7, 2018 In the USA

October 27, 2018 Green Card received 

October 29, 2018 Applied for Social Security Card - November 5, 2018 Social Security Card received

November 6th, 2018 State ID Card Received, Applied for Global Entry - Feb 8,2019 Approved.

July 14, 2020 Removal of Conditions submitted by mail  July 12, 2021 Biometrics Completed

August 6, 2021 N-400 submitted by mail

September 7, 2021 I-751 Interview, Sept 8 Approved and Card Being Produced
