When I read your last line I felt a huge lump in my throat.

I now only realise that I am not the only one going through this. 90% of the people on this site are too...

I miss my husband more than I have ever missed anything. Yesturday was our 4 month anniversary and I havent seen him since the 5th Feb ....

We can only imagine what the men go through being alone and missing us. They are just much better at hiding it.

I am married to a military man and he doesn't like to hear when I am sad or upset or crying... He says why get all upset over something so small. There are people out there that have lost their loved ones permanently and we are still looking forward to being together! I wish I had that way of thought but it is real hard....

I am still fresh in this and am also waiting for my NOA 2 from VSC....

I will pray for you and you can include me in your prayers too....

It is disconcerting. Many never see a touch at all before approval. I'm guessing some of the workers are better about updating the database than others are. I never saw a single touch on either of my petitions but had the fastest China K3 on record and CFL in 2006. Relax and check your email.

Oh my god Sam! i am married to a military man too! and we both are experiencing the same things. He doesn't like to know that i am sad, that im crying, or that i am stressed with the situation. I am very proud that my husband is very understanding despite the fact that he is also very lonely. He remains calm and patient.

I do hope we get some touches soon!!! Help us lord!!!

I wouldn't trade my man for anything or anyone in the world - he jsut has a different outlook on life and this situation.

I have my daughter with me, who is going over with me. My hubby doesn't have anyone... I can just imagine how strong they are!!!

Where is your hubby based?

Mine is base in Norfolk Virgina... I have only been to the US once and that is when we were married in Tennessee...

This is all soo exciting and also so very sad, and frustrating....

It is amaizing what 2 people from different sides of the world would do to be together! The lord works in misterious ways and I beleive that everything happens for a reason and our time will come!!! Hopefully real soon!!!

I am planning on resining from my job next month as my pension pays out 6 weeks after my last day here and I need that for the flights to the US it is real expensive from here....

I am on my way out - But it is wonderful to have met someone I can relate to!

Have an awsome evening and Pray Pray Pray!!!!!

well, i am a military man, married to a lovely lady from England, and I can tell y'all...we feel it too! it is hard, but for some of us, we feel as though it is our responsibility to be the strong ones and try to comfort our spouses when they start to lose hope. this does not mean that when the phone call is over, we do not shed our tears or get upset, however.

my wife and I filed in january, and we have seen no real improvement in our case. we have made phone calls, written letters, sent more pictures, and even called a congressman. nothing seemed to help. this has not only taken its toll on us, but on my stepchildren as well. USCIS seems to be this secret society that runs on some code of ethics not made public to any of us. we have both lost hope at times, but try to keep in mind that something has got to give eventually. what else can one do, right?

the most that i can say is...try not to completely lose hope. y'all are not alone in the waiting game, and at some point, one way or another, we will all be able to start our new lives with our loved ones. :help:

Wow your process is taking long! ####### is going on???

Thank you for giving it to us from the eyes of a man... I know every one hurts but us woman seem to show it much more than our men, although we know they are just trying to be strong.

I can say one thing and comming from a country where there is permanent worry and uncertanty with relationships I am really proud to have met and married a US Man. American men are soo different to South African men. They actually have respect for woman. I am not speaking badly about all South African men but I have seen and experienced 90% of what goes on here with relationships...

With my hubby now there is no doubt in my mind of his love for me and that shows in every which way - so if he shows sorrow or not I know deep down inside he is hurting too....

Good luck and you are all in my prayers!!!!!
