So my fiancee interview was Last Thursday May 9th. She got approved after the interview. When we booked the appointment originally in March, we chose with "Premium Delivery" at her home residence. When she asked someone at the consulate where does she pay for the premium delivery, they stated you pay after you receive it at your home. Currently Sunday evening May 12th, the status on the CEAC website shows "Issued" how long before she receives the passport with visa package in the mail? I bought her ticket for Saturday, is that enough time for the passport to come? Any information would be helpful!

Thank you! :)

Congrats on your visa, IMO it wld've been safer for the passport to be in hand before buying any flight ticket as there have been several cases of persons here who can't track or know the whereabouts of their passports deapite its status showing "issued" on ceac.

There are about a million posts here on VJ about never purchasing tickets (or quitting a job etc) until a valid visa in hand. A number of things could go wrong.
