Hello everyone. Our case was received by the Consulate in Guangzhou on 4/29... today on 5/8 it now says our case is in “administrative processing.” We haven’t received our packet 3 and I’m just wondering if others have had this as well?

Administrative processing is a normal issue for any US Embassy that looks into the case file and sees to it that every content inside the case file is really correct before calling the applicant for an interview.

So be patient everything will be fine and you will soon be call for your case interview , and if they still need any additional document , they will tell you.
