So does the NVC ship cases every two weeks with the majority being shipped on Tuesdays? For example, Would today, May 7, 2019 be the day that the majority of cases are shipped to Manila; and if the case doesn't get shipped this week then the next group of cases would ship the week of May 21, 2019?

Did you email NVC and get your MNL # ?      It ships when it ships ..     The simple way is to watch for your status on CEAC to change to READY .. then it is time to rock n roll.

Yes, I emailed them a couple weeks ago and just waiting on the email and ready status. I have the MNL# from a phone call to them.

Use the MNL# to check your status on CEAC.   There is a link to CEAC at the top of this page:

Just checked now and it says at the NVC.

The day it ships it will change to "in transit"

The day it arrives in Manila it will change to "ready"

YMMV

Okay, so when it shows "in transit" will that be when they send the email that can be used for the medical exam?

Correct

Thanks everyone. Is there a way to see how many interview slots are available at any given time?

Yes.  Since you have the MNL#, you can pay the fee at BPI, fill out the ds160 and link your payment.  Once your payment is linked,  you will be able to see the interview schedule in detail.

YMMV

The procedure for shipments from NVC to the embassy changed about 6 months ago to a shipping schedule of every other Tuesday  and Wednesday.  Next shipment is May 14 & 15. Yes its best to follow along at ceac. Choose immigrant and enter case number.

At what point will I link the BPI payment? Is it after the electronic signature is submitted by my fiance?
