Visa approved! :dance:

Finally this day came for me too. I left the house early in the morning (4:30 am) because I was afraid of the traffic, a lot of rain and trucks on autobahn 5 but all good, I arrived to the Consulate in Frankfurt at 6:00 am. I parked in front of the Consulate and I was the second in line..but first person was for a work visa so....and the third in line was a VJ friend, Diana (John&Diana)-approved too :D .

Inside, first you pass the security, then you go to the visa building.

Window 22 pay the fee, window 23 give the number from the entrance, visa application (DS-230 part 2), 1 photo (I showed her a bunch of pictures and she picked the correct one lol) and I received a list with the order they want my documents at the next window and an envelope to put stamps on it (value of the stamps 4.25 euro).

Window 18, the lady (very nice lady) took the requested documents and explained me about the POE and removing the conditions...plus she noticed that my passport will expire in December so she advise me to keep the expired passport too when I get the new one.

Window 17: interview. I signed DS-230 part 2 in front of the Officer, he asked me where we are going to live in the States, he took my fingerprints and.... APPROVED. He said they have everything they need and they are ready to issue my visa so in maxim a week i will get the visa in the mail.

05/03/2007 I have an unofficial "PETITION APPROVED" ...waiting for confirmation from Consulate

05/07/2007 Received email from USCIS ROME confirming that our petition was approved (why Rome? because we complained to the District Office Rome about the Sub-Office Frankfurt..it took too long for our petition to be approved)...now waiting for the interview letter from the Consulate

05/18/2007 E-mail from IV Frankfurt, our interview was scheduled for May 29th

05/19/2007 Packet 4 in the mail: ja ja ja interview letter

05/29/2007 Interview at 7.30 a.m. APPROVED Thank you, God!

06/01/2007 Visa arrived !

06/03/2007 Mayday on the plane POE Cincinnati

Living in Maryland

06/21/2007 Welcome Notice from USCIS

06/29/2007 Applied for SSN at the local Office

07/07/2007 Green Card arrived

07/09/2007 Another 2 Welcome Letters from USCIS...God, they really love me! :D

01/24/06: Officially began our relationship

11/01/06: He proposed marriage :)

02/17/07: I-129F Sent to NSC

02/23/07: I-129F NOA1

02/28/07: I-129F NOA2 (found out while checking on-line)

03/02/07: Received hard copy NOA1

03/08/07: Received hard copy NOA2

03/13/07: NVC sent packet to La Habana

03/27/07: Telegram "sent" to fiance to pick up packet 3... never received

04/02/07: I contacted the "embassy" to find out status of case and set up pick up date

04/04/07: Fiance picked up packet 3

04/05/07: I called toll-free # here to set up appointment for my fiancé

05/10/07: Interview scheduled for 7:30AM... Visa Approved!!!!!!!!

05/14/07: Picks up passport/visa and brown sealed envelope

05/15/07: Paperwork for the carta blanca turned in

05/24/07: Carta Blanca received and bought plane ticket

06/04/07: Entry into the US... together again!!!!!!!

08/07/07: MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey... Gratulation....

that sound very good.... my interview is on the 29th June in Frankfurt...

But did i missed something "Window 22 pay the fee" What fee now??... i thought we have to pay the fee by bank transfer??? :unsure:

Hey... Gratulation....

that sound very good.... my interview is on the 29th June in Frankfurt...

But did i missed something "Window 22 pay the fee" What fee now??... i thought we have to pay the fee by bank transfer??? :unsure:

DCF is a spouse visa, it is a little different than the k1....you have to show them the proof that you paid and you'll be alright :thumbs:

and thank you (F)...and good luck at your interview, do not be worried, i was with a friend, she had the fiance visa and she was approved in 3-4 minutes ;) they are very nice people over there
