Dear All,

I joined the internship program with J1 visa 1 year in USA from 08/2016 to 8/2017 ,then I applied for B2 visitor visa for 1 year until 08/2018, I went back to my home country (Vietnam).

Now I am working here and want to take a second chance for J1 Traineeship.  On my visa shows "Bearer is not subject to section 212(E) two-year rule does not apply".

So I don't know if I possibly apply for the traineeship with J1  visa again and do I must wait for 2 years in my home country ?

My wife did a 6 month J-1 internship for  hospitality then the following year she did a 1 year internship (which I met her then) She had the 212(E) two-year rule does not apply on both of her visas.

https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2009/04/30/E9-9657/2009-revised-exchange-visitor-skills-list  On this website look at the skill list, then find your country it will tell  you what is part of that skill list. if you want to verify

You can also check with your DS-2019 if you still have it.
