K1 Minimum Income Requirement while living Abroad

So I think in most cases, the K1 is used when the US Citizen lives and works in the US and wants to bring his foreign fiancé to the US.

 

Is there anything already in place for the scenario where both of the US Citizen and the Fiancé live and work abroad? I mean like any special or additionnal paperwork?

No but most people just get married.  The process is cheaper and it enables the beneficiary to have a green card immediately vs spending extra money and after finally getting married, waiting another 5-7 months to be able to work (EAD)

 

I suggest reading up on the CR1 process instead of the K1 and getting married asap.
