My fiancee had her K1 visa interview last week and By the Grace of God she was approved. She got to the place an hour before the interview time, they made them form a queue under the tree at the roundabout. They were giving instructions on what to do and what not to do.
They went through the first screening process where you show your appointment letter ( for K1 indicate your case number). Then the second screening by the security personnel. She then submitted a copy of appointment letter to the front desk.
She sat down for 30 mins and was asked to submit her passport, passport size pic, Medical and police report, birth certificate and evidence of relationship.. kindly note the didn't ask for any evidence of financial support even tho she offered. The consular said they had it all already

she was made to sign form DS-237 also

She was asked to wait for her main interview which lasted about 5 mins and was an anticlimax. The consular was very polite and friendly.

She was asked the following questions
- who petitioned for her?
-where does the petitioner stay?
- what does petitioner does
- her profession?
- where in the us she would stay?
- how she met my fiance/ timelines
- what she loves about my fiance
- the work she intend to do in the US
-her past visa denials

- how the petitioner acquired us citizenship

Honesty is everything. They have every information about u, because the go over your files before u are interviewed. Speak confidently and look into their eyes..
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't LIE, she saw people sweating and getting tremors..

They can repeat the same questions severally.

God bless us all
