Has anyone else struggled at the interview stage? Our petition has been at the embassy since January with no response from them. I've spoken to the embassy in the US and they have reached out several times to expedite the case however the embassy in Ghana has not responded. Anyone else just stuck?

Don't know who you called as there is no such thing as a US embassy in the USA

I got married at LDS church in Ghana here because that’s where my wife worship in the state so they gave us the marriage certificate but we registered our at marriage registration office, my problem is the bishop put customary marriage there could that be a problem at my interview next week???? Someone should talk to me now oooo

What's it are you waiting for? Have you attended the interview already or you are now waiting for the interview to scheduled? If you are waiting for interview date, then i am afraid you can't do much than to wait.

We are waiting for packet 3 to be sent so we can go forward with scheduling the interview. Ghana does not allow you to go for the interview without it

VJ Thread for those processing in Ghana where you can ask questions of others

Average wait time from when embassy receives the application is 6-8 weeks.  Average time to be sent to Ghanaian embassy from NVC is 1 month.  Therefore applicants should expect 3 months from NVC till receiving the P3.  Interview slots are very limited for this embassy, so it is advised for applicants that believe that they are a "strong applicant" to proactively schedule their interview date three months out to secure a date and time.

Like I said start without them. You now have the p3 and a link to others who can help you. Or sit and grow old waiting.
