Update

Hi everyone, just want to provide an update about our situation.  We sent out our aos package and received a text from USCIS last night to let us know that they have received our paper works.  However, I think I screwed up on the paperworks.  Let me explain:  I only sent in the tax transcript for 2017  because I have not done my 2018 taxes.  I mistakenly thought that my 2017 WAS my 2018 transcript.  How can I correct this?

they usually sent rfe if you missed anything. then you can correct what you missed by responding the right documents that they mention in rfe notice. 

 

for now relax and wait for the results hehe

And you have until April 2019 to file for 2018, so technically, 2017 was the latest tax return.
