Hi everyone,

I don't think there has been a March 2019 AOS filers discussion thread yet so I thought I'd create one. I filed I-485/I-130 concurrently, as well as an EAD and AP application. My local field office is Fairfax, VA and I'm adjusting from an F1 visa.

Here's our timeline so far:

  • Application Filed:
    • 07 Mar 2019
  • USCIS Received Date:
    • 07 Mar 2019
  • Checks Cashed On:
    • 13 Mar 2019
  • Biometrics Notice Received:
    • 22 Mar 2019
  • Biometrics Appointment:
    • 3 Apr 2019

Concurrent filing of I-130, I-485, I-765, and I-131 (USC spouse)

Current status: F1 (currently on OPT)

Local USCIS office: Washington, DC

Service center: NBC

03/07/2019: FedEx delivery

03/07/2019: Priority / Received date

03/22/2019: Notice of action (Biometrics appointment)

04/01/2019: Completed biometrics

04/08/2019: Case is Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview

Oppss.... totally didn't see that you might be filing aos via I140. Most of us there is doing aos via I130. Disregard my comments lol

Hi there! Although I am also filing via I130 (family-based), that thread is for people that are doing AOS after entering on K visas while this thread is meant for people who are adjusting while already in the US on other visas, F1 etc.. good luck with everything!

I'm adjusting from F1. There's quite a few of us there that's AOS that's not on K1. I feel like the timeline is almost the same for AOS from K1 or F1.
