Hi there! Although I am also filing via I130 (family-based), that thread is for people that are doing AOS after entering on K visas while this thread is meant for people who are adjusting while already in the US on other visas, F1 etc.. good luck with everything!

I'm adjusting from F1. There's quite a few of us there that's AOS that's not on K1. I feel like the timeline is almost the same for AOS from K1 or F1.

you're welcome, it does not seem like there is too big a difference in processing times between K1 and other visas so the other one is still a great resource :)

Yeah I know, it seems like K1 visa people are getting their interview date pretty quickly. I would be happy with my EAD :D

We are at the same time frame and my local field office is Fairfax, VA too. My case status also shows Ready to be scheduled for an interview as April 17 now. Do you know how long Fairfax field office will take to schedule an acutal interview? Thank you.

great to have another VA filer around!! I'm not too sure honestly as I haven't seen many DC field office filers around or the ones I've seen are still waiting to be scheduled since March / April of this year. From personal experience, I know someone who filed in our office and got their gc within 4 months but I also have a friend who filed in August and is still waiting. I would say that the more "straightforward" the case is, the quicker it seems to get scheduled.

There's also this thread, it's mostly Baltimore filers but there's some DC/NoVA filers too. Hope it helps!

so true! from the March thread, it seems that some field offices in MI and FL schedule them pretty quickly, I'm jealous haha I would also be more than happy with the EAD

The annoying part is that we got our "ready to be scheduled" update more than 2 weeks ago and still nothing, but there are many people who had their biometrics just now and they already got an interview date.

I'm not complaining or anything at all, because I read the threads back to last August any many people still don't even have a "ready to be scheduled" update, but it's all just so weird to me.

Florida got really fast!!! A friend of mine will have her interview on May 9th and her NOA1 is February 26.

Hey guys!

This thread is being quiet. 53 days today since the NOA1.

Almost all of us here had the "ready to be scheduled" update. Any update since then? Nothing for me.

I asked at least 2 times in the other March thread what are the expedite requirements because I think way too many people are getting their interview from there, but all the people are ignoring my question. I wonder why 😂
