Hi Everyone,

My NOA1 is 12/28/18 and have read it takes about 4-6 months for your AP combo card to be approved. Well, I'm expecting to get an RFE because I didn't put duplicated of certain documents (Thinking the whole packet was one, and didn't know it would be eventually separated)...Anyways, is this "4-6 months" range when my case will be reviewed and potentially given a RFE? or would an RFE be sent prior to the 4-6 month range?

Not sure if this question is even answerable 😕 but I thought I'd give it a shot.

&& does an RFE back track the processing by a lot???

I'm having my destination wedding in December (so, about 8 more months), and my paranoia is kicking in. 😖

There's no standard time for sending an RFE. I got an RFIE for I-485 about 2 weeks after filing, but I saw that someone got an RFE for their I-765 a few days ago, while their case is already pending like 5+ months. So sometimes you get it right after filing (RFIE or RFE), sometimes it takes a while and sometimes you just don't get one at all.

Also, RF(I)E is not really something to worry about. Usually it's a small piece of information they're missing and it's usually pretty easy to respond to.

December should be enough time, but for this process you should keep the same rule as for K1: Do not plan any travel until you have your AP/GC in hand

I got an RFIE two days ago. I'm at day 150 and the case numbers around me have been approved. It doesnt reset the clock. It pauses the clock for ALL applications until you comply.
