DS-260 and Vietnamese name order

When filling out the DS-260, it asks for the Beneficiary's name in the order that it appear on the passport. On the I-130,  I filled out her name in the American order. My guess is to follow the instructions and fill out the DS-260 with her name as it appears on her passport even though I used the American order on the I-130. Any problems with this?

Just follow the instructions on the DS-260.

Know that no matter what you do, chances are the HCMC Consulate will mess it up any way. They have been issued visas in the following order: Middle First Last. So if her name is Ivanka Marie Trump, they will issue the visa as Marie Ivanka Trump with “Marie Ivanka” being the first name and Trump being the last name, no middle name. So when the GC comes, it the same order, same as the SSN.

USS_Voyager is correct. It doesn't matter because the name will get mixed up by someone. Just be consistent, even if it isn't correct. That's what we do and we haven't had any problems. After citizenship, then you can get passport with correct name - or however you want it. It doesn't matter.
