Medical Examination with just embassy email?

I was wondering if anybody has done the medical examination  with just the email from the embassy with the scheduled interview date without the actual packet 4 paper?  I have the email from the embassy for the interview date on March 19th, but haven't received the packet 4 yet.  I was wondering if you could print out the email and take it with you to the hospital to get the examination.  It is either wait a bit more for the paperwork or try getting it done with just the email.

Hello,

I just had my medical done today, and that was the only thing I printed out for them, and they accepted it fine, no questions asked! As long as you have something that has your case number, name, and date of the interview, you're good.

You just print out the email. They don't send a physical packet 4 letter

Interesting.......I looked at timelines and noticed that Packet 4s were being received very quickly by applicants.   I guess this could explain why.......there is only email and no physical mailing of the Packet 4 letter??
