Required Documents For Active Duty Military (Affidavit of Support)

Hello everyone!

I would like to start by saying I have a new found respect for the struggle that people go through with this god-forsaken immigration process. It is unbelievably difficult and complicated (most likely even purposefully constructed this way). My Fiancee and I have received our NOA2 and are about ready to send in our package to the Thai embassy. I have read that my employment must be stated and designated on notarized paper to include the nature of it as well as an official bank statement. I have talked to other active duty service members that have stated that they only provided: tax returns, W-2's and their Leave and Earning Statements. Can anyone provide clarification on what is required?

My fiancé is also an active duty military, and will have his deployment this coming april, on our I 129f packet, do we need to include his military order? (By the way we're not trying to expedite our process) I'm just worried about this, I don't want to receive an RFE

Thank you for this information. We already called that number and advised them that his deployment will start this coming April. :)
