Uscis has finally caught up and is now on the date they recieved and filed our application. It's already been 8 months. Does anybody have an idea on how long it's going to take for them to look and review and give a decision?

They had our application for almost 7 months before we heard anything-then we got RFE, we replied to that the next day and within in a week they approved us. Its the most frustrating thing ever, but it will happen soon

It's definitely frustrating, I just want it to be over and done with it. Especially now we found out I'm pregnant. Hopefully we hear soon

The wait is the worst.  If you check online if USCIS are processing applications past your date, you can send a query about your application. Congrats on the pregnancy! That's so exciting! :)

Once NVC receives the petition (usually a couple weeks after NOA2) there is about 2 to 3 months before Case Closed and from the 1 to 3 months for the interview.  This process takes all of the 12 to 14 months that they claim.
