My OATH ceremony is next week. and have a ticket back on 2017 which it was after my interview. will that effect my oath? the ticket was pay it was for speeding.

Minor traffic infractions, which speeding is, don't count.

Just curious, it took them more than a year to schedule the oath after your interview? That seems very long.

You will need to declare the ticket on your N-445 questionnaire. It would probably also be prudent to bring documentary evidence showing you paid the ticket, even if technically you shouldn't have to.

What Hypnos said.  My wife's oath ceremony is this Friday.   The  N-445 form my wife received has a number of questions that have to be answered.  They all relate to items that happened AFTER the date you were interviewed to the date you are having your oath.

One question asks this:

Have you been arrested, cited, charged, indicted, convicted, fined or imprisoned for breaking or violating any law or ordinance, including traffic violations?

God bless
