Trying to tranfer K1, won't NVC help?

Due to miscalculating when we'd receive our NOA2 (took 12 months with no website/sms updates, just snail mail), we ended up getting approved before USCIS received our letter to change embassies. After calling NVC they stated, "...it takes around 6 weeks for the case to arrive, by which we go through thousands of e-mails everyday and aren't sure whether we'd get to yours before or after the case has been sent to the embassy". Getting set back by months waiting for the transfer has left us both distressed and I wanted to know if anyone has changed embassies through NVC successfully? Our game plan is to call about twice a week and begin sending snail mail around next month for a chance to be seen to before our case is sent off, does this seem like a good idea?

All the best!

It's hard to give advice with no facts.

What is the beneficiary's country?

What processing center?

What is the wrong embassy and the right one??
