Well he's a bit late to the party -

I believe he's the only Presidential candidate (excluding those with no chance of winning like Kucinich and Gravel) who has come out and said it in these terms.

Maybe - but like most politicians he's light-years behind the general public.

That phrase didn't refer to the war ending. It was about the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln completing its mission. But don't let that stop you from Bush-bashing
