There's no way to accurately calculate when a PD will be current. They can only estimate based on historical data. Several estimators are out there (i.e. https://www.myprioritydate.com/), but even USCIS and DOS do not know what will happen in the future.

 

Expect roughly 2 years from initial I-130 filing for the PD to become current under F2A. It could be less or it could be 2.5+ years. It all depends on how many others before him actually receive a visa.
