Certification of marriage certificate

If marriage took place in Thailand and certificate is in Thai, should translation be certified by Thailand's Ministry Of Foreign Affairs or certification by approved translation company is enough?

My Icelandic marriage certificate was translated by a service and that’s all I’ve needed.

There are translators who are certified by the goverment.trained and authirised by the goverment.  If this this is your case then its okay. Though we are in different countries. My marriage certificate was authorised by the translator because he is goverment certified and i had no problem

The translation is certified by the translator.  Thailand is not an exception.  China is.  Translations from mainland China civil documents must be by an official Government Notarial Office.  The translation company needs not be "approved" by anybody, and it need not be a "company".  Study those I-130 instructions and interpret them literally.
