Hello,

I have read some conflicting information regarding when you are supposed to do your CFO. My Fiancee and I are approved for everything except for the Interview which is on February 14th and the Medical. Question is, "Do you have to have your visa in hand when doing your CFO? Can we do it before her interview, or after her interview and before she picks up her Visa in Manila?

Is it possible to pick up your Visa at 2go Mall of Asia a day before an international flight?

Your fiancee can take GCP anytime.  She DOES NOT need visa on hand.  Others (like K-2) do need VOH.  Only fiancees/spouses are allowed to take it without the VOH.  They will get a certificate and will have to go back after they receive the visa to get the stamp.  Look at my signature...

I strongly recommend not booking any flights until VOH.  AP can be a black hole and I have seen way too many people lose money because they thought they would have the visa on a certain date.  Sometimes AP is a couple days, sometimes it is a couple months!

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

Alright, noted. Since it is her and her daughter (k2) that means they have to and probably should wait for VOH to complete it together correct?

Also, that is what I was thinking. I told her it would probably be best to just make an extra flight to and from Manila to get her Visa from 2go. That way we keep the amount of variables at an all time low.

We had the same.  Rose was able to do her GCP but the kids have to wait for the VOH.

You should have a days notice or so from 2GO.  Where is she picking it up?  MOA?

For the GCP seminar you can take that before or after receiving your visa.

If you have MOA setup as your visa delivery location then yes you can pick it up at the 2GO office in MOA

Ah okay, maybe I will have her go do hers so then all she has to worry about is her daughters CFO.

But yeah we are gonna make it the MOA cause I believe Hank's site stated it is the quickest way to get your Visa in your hands.

BTW  I keep making Mercy go through her checklist for the interview and medical to ensure she has it all ready to rock and roll lol

The interview is quick and easy!  I've been through that part.  I don't have experience picking up the visa yet, though!  Good luck to you.  Tell Mercy to smile and to look the CO in the eyes when she talks to them.  She will rock it!

That is a great question.  We will sign them up after they get their visas and we will see what CFO says.  Correct, Rose is done.  She just needs the sticker.
