Not a newbie but lost my old info years ago) I have been through this process before --all the way through naturalization-- This site has always been a great help to me.

Trust me my asawa is not happy about it at all either. If she wasn't a family member then my wife wouldn't have anything to do with her due to that. Not to mention she still owes us over $800 and there is no way she would be able to pay that while living in Pinas.
