Me and my husband was talking about traveling in any country. We are aware that as a Philippines passport holder there is only limited place for me to go where they dont required a visa. Any of you here experience travelling in a country that need a visa? And is it true that there is some country that Philippines passport holders are not allowed to enter? What are your experience on traveling abroad with your American passport holder spouse?

Thanks in advance

Yes, there are a couple countries where Philippine passport holders can not go which is primarily Somalia, Iraq, and Syria.

I would also like to say that I have a friend of mine who has worked in both Iraq and Somalia as a OFW, and now working back in Iraq. She has not been home since 2011 because she has an Iraqi and Afghanistan stamp in her passport. So accordingly to her and "something she has heard from the Filipino Grapevine" that she will not be allowed out of the Philippines because of those stamps in her passport.

I made the post because my husband sooo curious and wonder if Philippines passport holders allowed entry in a country like Canada or any country/island next to America? I know that Japan also dont allow Philippines passport holders entry to their country without a visa or a lay over permit or whatever. Is it the same with other countries(Except middle East)?

My husband said because he holds an American passport he can go anywhere without needed  a visa but philippine passort holders can't.. i know this is true if the country of destination is like Japan.. we are so curious about this. My husband never travel in other country except when he went to Philippines to see his highness 😂😂
